Brain Surgeon Theater serves as
an educational and creative home committed to making original plays
unconstrained by typical expectations of children’s theater.
We believe in bringing together child and professional actors with a
wide range of talents, abilities, ages, and interests to collaborate
and perform in equally-sized roles. The success of our February 2007
revival of "CAVES!" demonstrated that Chicago has need of a company
that creates work with, by, and for children that is truly
meta-theatrical for audience and performers alike.
